What it's all about

I was lucky enough to be asked to design the menu, name cards, and service booklet for a beautiful October wedding in Wicklow, Ireland. Floral choice was specific to the couples backgrounds, and the hand-drawn art featured bows and candles throughout to reflect the romantic spirit of the day.

how we did it

All art was hand-drawn using Fresco, we decided on tablescape imagery for the menu, with bows featuring to tie into the bride's dress. The groom is from South Africa, so the Protea flower features prominently throughout, as well as hydrangeas, the bride's favourite. Name cards are in a hand-drawn type font, colours were chosen from the floral palette.

Service Booklet, menu, and name cards

The service booklet had to allow for a fair amount of information, presented in an easy to read way.
The (delicious looking) menu contains 4 courses, as well as highlighting the hand-selected wines served.

Details

Hydrangeas are the bride's favourite, and the Protea flower is a reference to the national flower of South Africa, where the groom is from. Colours were selected to coordinate with the autumnal dahlia-heavy colour palette; reds, burgundies, pinks, and golds.
